TRTC Guwahati Accounts Assistant: B.Com With a Year on Tally, Age 30

TRTC is an autonomous body under the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The pay isn’t stated. The advertisement only calls it commensurate and negotiable under TRTC norms, so ask for the figure before you accept.

Age Counted on the Advertisement Date

The age limit is counted on 29 October 2026, the date of the advertisement, not on the interview day. So if you turned 31 after 29 October, you still qualify. If your birthday is close, check it with the age calculator. The advertisement mentions no age relaxation for any category.

Tally Prime, GST and TDS

Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Office is listed under desirable skills but worded as a must. Preference goes to people who know GST, income tax and TDS. The one year of experience has to be accounts work on Tally Prime, so bring an experience certificate that says so.

What to Carry to Amingaon

• An updated CV with a recent passport photo pasted on it.
• Original academic and experience certificates.
• One set of self-attested photocopies of all of them.

The venue is TRTC, near EPIP, Amingaon Industrial Area, North Guwahati Road, Guwahati 781031. No travel allowance is paid. TRTC may shortlist on the day, and it says it may raise the number of vacancies.

The advertisement has a box saying “Scan QR code to apply now”, which sits oddly with a walk-in that asks for nothing in advance. On 31 October we found it listed on the TRTC home page, but not on the site’s separate Advertisement page, where only a CEO recruitment notice showed.
