SBI Wealth Management Recruitment 2026 is back with a second, much smaller notice: Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/25 offers 6 contract posts in the Wealth Management & Premier Banking Department, from a Rs 199 lakh Head Sales role down to a Central Operations Team support job. State Bank of India opened online registration on 30 September 2026, and it closes on 21 October 2026. This is for people already working in wealth management, mutual funds, broking or bank technology who can move to Mumbai. It is not the 207-post drive that closed on 25 September, and it is not an entry-level exam. Freshers should browse the latest job openings instead.
SBI Wealth Management Recruitment 2026: 6 SCO Posts, Apply by 21 Oct
SBI Wealth Management Vacancy 2026: Posts, Category and Age
There are six vacancies across five posts. Two seats are reserved: one SC seat for Product Lead, and one OBC seat for Central Operations Team Support, which also carries a horizontal seat for a visually impaired (VI) candidate. The age limits are as on 31 August 2026.
| Post | Vacancies | Age | CTC upper limit (per year) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Head Sales | 1 (UR) | 40 to 52 | Rs 199 lakh |
| Central Research Team (Product Lead) | 2 (1 SC, 1 UR) | 30 to 45 | Rs 77.20 lakh |
| Manager (Business Process) | 1 (UR) | 30 to 40 | Rs 47.20 lakh |
| Project Development Manager (Technology) | 1 (UR) | 25 to 40 | Rs 47.20 lakh |
| Central Operations Team (COT) Support | 1 (OBC; PwBD VI horizontal) | 30 to 40 | Rs 37.20 lakh |
The suggested place of posting is Mumbai, though the bank can transfer you anywhere in India or to a subsidiary. You can apply for more than one post if you meet the eligibility for each. That is different from the Digital Marketing notice released the same day.
SBI Wealth Management Age Limit and Relaxation
The upper limits in the table are for unreserved candidates. SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates get upper-age relaxation under Government of India rules. The notice does not print the number of years. Check your age on 31 August 2026 with the age calculator, because an ineligible candidate who turns up for interview is sent back without travel costs.
Qualification and Experience for Each Post
Head Sales: an MBA or PGDM, with CFP, CFA, NISM V-A or NISM 21-A preferred. You need at least 15 years managing sales teams in wealth management, retail banking or an AMC, including 8 years leading a large team of relationship managers and team leads.
Product Lead (Central Research Team): an MBA, PGDM, CA or CFA. NISM Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, CFP, or NISM 21-A/21-B certification is preferred. You need at least 5 years in equity research or products at a wealth firm, AMC or bank. SBI prefers 8 years in equity, fixed income or mutual fund research, and comfort with Bloomberg, Reuters, Morningstar or CRISIL data.
Manager (Business Process): an MBA or PGDM, and 5 years in a bank, wealth management firm or broking firm. Experience with wealth business processes is preferred.
Project Development Manager (Technology): a BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MBA, MMS, PGDM or PGDBM, and 4 years in banking technology, preferably on the business side.
COT Support: any graduate, with 3 years in financial services, investment advisory, private banking or a wealth solutions provider. At least 2 of those years must be in central operations for a wealth business.
Four rules catch people out:
- Experience of less than six months at any one employer is ignored.
- Teaching and training experience does not count.
- If you are working in an SBI Group company, you need an NOC when you apply, not at interview.
- If you were offered a Wealth Management & Premier Banking post before and did not join, you are barred for two years from the date you failed to join. If you held one of these posts and resigned, you are barred for two years from resigning.
SBI Wealth Management Salary and Contract
The CTC figures are ceilings, not offers. The actual pay is negotiated around your current salary, experience and place of posting. Each CTC has three parts: fixed pay, a small allowance for conveyance, mobile and medical, and performance-linked pay of 0 to 35% of fixed pay. The annual increment band is 0 to 25%.
- Head Sales: fixed pay up to Rs 147 lakh, plus Rs 0.38 lakh allowances
- Product Lead: fixed pay up to Rs 57 lakh, plus Rs 0.38 lakh
- Manager (Business Process) and Project Development Manager: fixed pay up to Rs 34.75 lakh, plus Rs 0.32 lakh
- COT Support: fixed pay up to Rs 27.32 lakh, plus Rs 0.32 lakh
The contract runs for 5 years, and State Bank of India can renew it for another 4 at its discretion. Either side can end it with two months' notice or two months' pay. You get 30 days of leave in each financial year.
Selection: Interview and CTC Negotiation
There is no written test. A committee shortlists applicants on its own criteria, and meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee a call. Shortlisted candidates face one or more rounds of personal or video interview, marked out of 100. The merit list is based only on interview marks, and a tie goes to the older candidate. State Bank of India then negotiates CTC in merit order. If you refuse the figure offered, you are treated as having withdrawn, and the next candidate is called. Travel costs for outstation candidates are covered on the shortest route, with the limit stated in the call letter.
Application Fee and Category Certificates
UR, EWS and OBC candidates pay Rs 750. SC, ST and PwBD candidates pay nothing. The fee is not refunded. The certificate rules are strict, and the OBC one matters for Assam applicants:
- OBC candidates need a central OBC certificate with the non-creamy layer clause, issued between 1 April 2026 and the interview date. An Assam OBC/MOBC state certificate is not the same thing. Our caste certificate guide explains the difference.
- No post has an EWS seat this time. If you register as EWS anyway, you need an Income and Asset Certificate for FY 2025-26, valid for FY 2026-27, in the Government of India format, by 21 October. Without it, apply as UR. See the EWS certificate guide for how Assam issues it.
Before You Apply: Documents to Upload
An application without the required documents will not be considered for shortlisting. Keep these ready:
- Recent colour passport photo (JPG, 20 to 50 KB, 200 x 230 pixels) and signature in black ink (JPG, 10 to 20 KB, 140 x 60 pixels, not in capital letters)
- Brief resume, ID proof and PAN card
- Degree certificate and mark sheets
- Experience certificates that name the field you worked in
- Form-16, offer letter or latest salary slip from your current employer
- PwBD certificate and NOC, if applicable
- Biodata and CTC format, filled in
Every PDF must be A4 and no larger than 500 KB. Use the compress PDF tool for large scans and the image resizer for the photo and signature.
How to Apply Online
- To apply online, open sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings and choose advertisement CRPD/SCO/2026-27/25.
- Download and read the full advertisement.
- Register and note the registration number and password. You can reopen a saved form only three times.
- Upload the photo, signature and documents, then check the preview.
