Sivasagar Revenue Sheristadar: Open Only to 15-Year DC Office Staff

The deadline needs care. The advertisement says applications must reach the DC “within 30 days from the date of publishing”, and the notice itself is dated only “as on signed”. The district website listed it on 16 October 2026, and 30 days from then runs to 15 November. The post is in the amalgamated establishment of the DC, Sivasagar, under the Assam Ministerial District Establishment Service Rules, 1967, with pay under the Assam Services (ROP) Rules, 2017, plus admissible allowances. The notice doesn’t say how many posts there are.

15 Years in a DC Establishment, With Revenue Branch Work

You need at least 15 years’ service in any DC establishment in Assam, with experience across branches and of the Revenue branch in particular. The notice sets no age limit and no minimum education, but your application has to state both your age and your qualification.

• An application giving your age, educational qualification, present and permanent address, and experience in different branches
• Attested copies of your certificates
• One recent passport-size photograph
• Your Annual Confidential Reports for the last five consecutive years
• Your service particulars, forwarded through proper channel to the District Commissioner, Sivasagar

The advertisement asks for applications “in prescribed format”, but the one-page PDF on the district website has no form attached. Ask your establishment branch for the format before you write it out.

Selection by Dispur, Not the District

The General Administration Department of the state government makes the selection, under the 1967 rules and their 1999 amendment. The notice mentions no written test or interview.
