SBI SCO Recruitment 2026: Posts and Vacancies

All four vacancies are unreserved (UR). Each post also carries one horizontal seat for a candidate with locomotor disability (LD). That seat counts inside the total, not on top of it. The suggested place of posting is Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, but the notice says State Bank of India can post you anywhere in India, or to one of its associates or subsidiaries.

The bank says the vacancy numbers are provisional and may change with its actual need.

SBI SCO Age Limit as on 31 August 2026

Both Deputy Vice President posts need you to be between 33 and 45. The Content Specialist post takes candidates aged 25 to 40. The upper limits are for the unreserved category. Reserved-category candidates get upper-age relaxation "as per Government of India guidelines", and the notice gives no year counts beyond that. Work out your exact age on the cut-off date with the age calculator. If you fall outside the limit, even by a few days, you will not be allowed into the interview and SBI will not pay your travel.

Deputy Vice President Eligibility

For Deputy Vice President (Analytical Marketing & Campaign) you need a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field. An MBA or PGDM in Marketing or Business Analytics is preferred, as are certificates in digital marketing or marketing analytics, GA4 and Google Ads. You need at least 10 years of experience after your degree in marketing at an e-commerce firm, bank, fintech, IT company or other consumer-facing company. Three to five of those years as a marketing or business analyst will count in your favour.

For Deputy Vice President (Digital Marketing) the degree can be in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing or a related field. An MBA or PGDM is preferred, along with digital or social media marketing certificates and Google Ads, performance marketing and GA4 certification. The 10-year experience rule is the same. SBI prefers 3 to 5 of those years in full-time digital acquisition or social media marketing.

Content Specialist Qualification and Experience

You need a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Advertising or a related field, and 5 to 7 years of hands-on work in content production, digital operations or creative coordination. Financial services or another regulated industry is ideal. Certificates in digital marketing, SEO or content writing help, as does experience with CMS and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo or HubSpot. Good English is essential. Knowing Indian languages is listed as a plus, so Assamese is worth mentioning on your resume.

Three rules apply to every post. Teaching and training experience does not count. Anyone with disciplinary proceedings pending or contemplated against them cannot apply. And if your degree certificate does not name your specialisation, bring a letter from the university that does.

What the Jobs Involve

The analytical DVP plans and tracks data-driven campaigns across channels. The work covers customer segmentation, campaign KPIs, MIS and dashboards, working with the bank's agency, and tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI or Tableau. The digital marketing DVP owns digital customer acquisition. That means improving conversions on INB and YONO, managing the search and display agencies, and running partnerships and influencer work. The Content Specialist writes and manages content for web, social, email, video and in-app channels. They also keep the content calendar, run A/B tests and work with the compliance team.

SBI SCO Salary, Contract and Variable Pay

The CTC is negotiable and depends on your experience, current pay and place of posting. It is split 80% fixed and 20% variable, with no other perks. The contract runs for 3 years and can be renewed for 2 more at the bank's discretion. Either side can end it with three months' notice or three months' pay. From the second year, the annual increment can be up to 5% of CTC if your appraisal score is at least 90%. State Bank of India also gives officers engaged on contract 30 days of leave in each financial year.

Variable pay is worked out every six months, as on 31 March and 30 September:

So "up to Rs 63 lakh" assumes a top score. Below 90%, the variable fifth of your CTC is not paid at all.

Selection: Shortlisting, Interview and CTC Negotiation

The SBI SCO Recruitment 2026 has no written exam. A committee shortlists candidates on its own parameters, and meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee a call. The interview carries 100 marks. For both Deputy Vice President posts, the interview includes a 5 to 10 minute PowerPoint presentation on the job profile. The merit list is based only on interview marks, and ties go to the older candidate. SBI then negotiates CTC in order of merit. If you turn down the figure it offers, you are treated as having left the process, and the next person on the list is called.

Outstation candidates called for interview get economy airfare for the shortest route: up to Rs 15,000 in total for the DVP posts and Rs 10,000 for Content Specialist, or the actual fare if that is lower. (The reimbursement table in the notice labels both DVP rows "Analytical Marketing & Analysis". That looks like a typo, and the limit is the same for both.)

Application Fee

General, EWS and OBC candidates pay Rs 750, which cannot be refunded. SC, ST and PwBD candidates pay nothing, but you must show a valid certificate in the Government of India format when asked. Before You Apply: Documents and File Sizes

The notice says an application without the required documents will not be considered for shortlisting, so collect everything first:

• Recent colour photograph (JPG, 20 to 50 KB, 200 x 230 pixels preferred) and signature in black ink on white paper (JPG, 10 to 20 KB, 140 x 60 pixels). A signature in capital letters is not accepted.
• Detailed resume, ID proof, and proof of date of birth
• Bachelor's degree certificate, plus any preferred qualification or certification certificates
• Experience certificates, the last 3 months' salary slips, and Form-16 or an offer letter from your current employer
• Caste or PwBD certificate, if applicable
• Biodata form and mandatory undertaking, both downloaded from the SBI careers page under CRPD/SCO/2026-27/24, then filled, signed and scanned
• NOC from your employer if you work in a government body, PSU or public sector bank (upload it if you have it; it is mandatory at interview)

Every PDF must be A4 and no larger than 500 KB. Build a clean resume with the resume builder, shrink large scans with the compress PDF tool, and get the photo and signature to size with the image resizer.

How to Apply Online at sbi.bank.in

1. To apply online, go to sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings and find advertisement CRPD/SCO/2026-27/24.
2. Download and read the full advertisement, the biodata form and the undertaking.
3. Register, and note the registration number and password. You can reopen and edit a saved form only three times.
4. Upload the photo, signature and documents, then check the preview.
5. Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card or internet banking. Registration is complete only once payment goes through.
6. Print the e-receipt and application form.

Nothing can be corrected after final submission, and no hard copy is sent to SBI. Call letters come only by email, so keep your email address and phone number active. SBI does not accept failed submissions on a jammed site as an excuse, so apply a few days before 21 October.
