SSC CGL 2026 Tier-I Exam Dates
Tier-I is scheduled from 30 September to 30 October 2026, as per the Commission's notice of 12 September 2026. The exam runs across multiple shifts and dates within this window, so your personal exam date depends on the shift SSC allots you — check this only after logging in, not from the general window above.
How to Check Your Exam City
Log in through the candidate login module on the SSC website to view your allotted exam city. You will need your registration credentials from when you applied. Keep these details from your original application at hand — the login will not work without them.
SSC CGL 2026 Admit Card Download
The Admission Certificate will tentatively be available 2-3 days before your respective exam date, through the same login module on the SSC website. Since Tier-I spans a month, this means candidates in later shifts will get their admit card later than those in the first week. Own Scribe Facility — What Changed
If you are using the 'Own Scribe' facility for Tier-I, note two changes from earlier cycles:
- Scribe registrations made before 5 November 2025 have been disposed of. If your scribe registered before that date, they must register again on the SSC website.
- Scribe registration is now linked to Aadhaar authentication. Anyone enrolling or appearing as a scribe must complete this fresh registration with Aadhaar verification.
Candidates availing own scribe must map their scribe's registration number on the SSC website by 24 September 2026, 11:00 PM, to get a Scribe Entry Pass generated. No pass is generated without this mapping — there is no manual fallback mentioned in the notice. The maximum permissible age for a scribe follows the Commission's policy dated 4 November 2025; other scribe guidelines remain as stated in the original Tier-I notice.
