Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Applicants must satisfy the educational qualifications and administrative experience specified for each role:

• Registrar: Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade). At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level-11 and above, or 8 years in Academic Level-12 and above including as Associate Professor, along with at least 5 years of experience as an educational administrator.
• Academic Registrar: Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade). At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level-11 and above (or 8 years in Level-12 and above including Associate Professor) and 5 years as an educational administrator; or comparable experience in research/higher education institutions; or 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years must be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
• Controller of Examination: Desirable qualifications include experience conducting or assisting university, college, or institutional examinations at the executive level, confidential work record, and examination computerisation proficiency. Working knowledge of computers and networking is mandatory.
• Deputy Controller of Examination: Master's degree with at least 55% marks, at least 9 years of experience as an Assistant Professor, and at least 5 years of administrative experience.
• Deputy Registrar: Master's degree with at least 55% marks, at least 9 years of experience as an Assistant Professor, and at least 5 years of administrative experience.
• Finance Officer: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 8 years of experience in finance and accounts in a university, government organisation, or public sector undertaking. Desirable: Master's degree in Commerce, Economics, or Statistics, computer literacy in finance, accounts, and stores, along with knowledge of Tally or relevant software.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is calculated as on 01 January 2026:

• Registrar, Academic Registrar, Controller of Examination: Maximum 55 years.
• Deputy Controller of Examination, Deputy Registrar, Finance Officer: Maximum 50 years.

Selection Process and Conditions

The recruitment involves the following stages and terms:

• Screening: A Screening Committee scrutinises all applications and shortlists eligible applicants. Mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates must appear before the Selection Committee for an interview at their own expense (no TA/DA is provided).
• Probation & Joining: Selected candidates remain purely temporary until confirmed after a minimum of one year of probation, which may be extended if necessary. Selected persons must join within one month of the issue of the appointment order.
